This high-quality durable adapter is not just a bridge between your camera and lens but a gateway to a world of photographic possibilities. Designed for the innovative Sony Alpha E-Mount mirrorless camera this adapter is compatible with a wide range of M42 screw mount lenses. It s a versatile tool that expands your lens choices allowing you to use both modern and vintage lenses with your camera. The Pro Lens Mount Shift Adapter delivers infinity focus and manual aperture control ensuring you have complete control over your photography. Its sturdy build ensures lasting quality making it a reliable addition to your camera kit. The V.2 adapter is specifically designed for lenses without aperture preview control. Please note it is not suitable for Pentax Takumar lenses for which the Fotodiox V.1 adapter is recommended. The enlarged lip of the Version 2 adapter is engineered to depress the aperture pin of the lens enabling full aperture control on most M42 lenses. Please be aware that this is a manual adapter. As such lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body such as autofocus AE metering and image stabilization will be disrupted. To achieve the best results set your exposure manually or meter using your camera s Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode. If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default. In summary the Pro Lens Mount Shift Adapter for M42 Type 2 to Sony Alpha E-Mount Mirrorless Camera Body is a cost-effective and versatile solution for photographers looking to expand their lens options.
