Canon - 24 mm to 70 mm - f/2.8 - Zoom Lens for Canon EF/EF-S (ef2470lii)

Are you in search of a high-performance lens that can handle a diverse range of professional photography assignments Look no further than the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This standard zoom lens for DSLRs has been meticulously redesigned to surpass the rigorous expectations of professional photographers. The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens boasts an enhanced optical performance courtesy of a new Super UD lens element and a pair of UD elements. These are specifically engineered to minimize chromatic aberrations along the edges and corners when shooting at wide angles. This lens features optimized lens coatings that significantly reduce color blur and ghosting. The resulting images offer exceptional color and contrast making this lens versatile enough to meet the demands of nearly any assignment. Key features of the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens include a large aperture with a fast f/2.8 maximum that remains consistent throughout the zoom range. The lens also features a high-speed CPU and USM (ultrasonic motor) along with optimized autofocus algorithms that drive a rapid and accurate autofocus system. The lens also offers a manual focus override in One Shot AF mode allowing you to fine-tune focus manually while in AF mode - a perfect blend of manual and automatic. The revised optical design of the lens includes one Super UD lens element and two UD elements. These work in harmony to significantly reduce chromatic aberrations that can result in blurring at the corners and edges of the image. Two aspherical lenses ensure improved image quality across the entire image regardless of the focal length. Fluorine coatings on the front and rear lenses reduce smears and fingerprints ensuring your lens stays clean and clear. The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens also delivers great bokeh thanks to the aperture s nine circular blades which create a soft pleasing focus fall-off and creamy backgrounds. Constructed to professional standards the lens is sealed against dust and water and a zoom lock lever locks the zoom in place eliminating zoom creep. This lens is an excellent companion to Canon s pro-line full-frame cameras such as the Canon EOS 5Ds and 6D or APS-sensor cameras such as the Canon EOS 7D Mark II. In summary the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens is a workhorse lens that delivers prime lens quality in a versatile zoom format.
